ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Jaclyn! Founder & CEO of LùMay Skin Spa.
I was born in Lexington and raised in Richmond, Kentucky. For 12 years, competitive cheerleading was my entire world. Through hard work and dedication, I earned State Titles, National Championships, and Top 10 World Championship placements and fulfilled my childhood dream of cheering for the University of Kentucky, where I proudly competed for four years and became a National Champion with the program.
While earning my bachelor’s degree at the University of Kentucky, I began in the nursing program before pivoting to Healthcare Communications with the goal of entering the medical or pharmaceutical sales industry. After graduation, I accepted a position planning and hosting three of the country’s leading Healthcare Supply Chain trade shows annually. But something kept calling me back.. my passion for skin health and helping others feel confident in their skin.
I returned to school and enrolled in the state’s top esthetics program at Katharos School of Aesthetics. Over the past five years as a licensed esthetician, I’ve had the privilege of treating hundreds of women, men, and teens helping them understand their skin, boost their confidence, and reach their goals through personalized treatment plans. Curating those one-on-one relationships and witnessing real transformations is truly the heart of what I love most about my work.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll find me traveling, cooking from scratch, enjoying good food and wine, playing mahjong or hanging out with my husband, our sweet dog Zora, and my close-knit circle of friends and family. I also have a soft joining the latest webinar for the industry’s latest advancements and a well-made skincare routine.

This 50-minute facial begins with a double cleanse followed by dermaplaning to remove vellus hair and dead skin cells, leaving your skin smooth and radiant. Please note: dermaplaning is not recommended for acne-prone or sensitive skin types, or for first-time clients at LúMay. Next, extractions are performed if needed, followed by a refreshing mask to address your skin's unique concerns. If necessary, we perform extractions to address clogged pores. A targeted mask is applied to address acne concerns, followed by a soothing cold globes massage and a calming scalp massage. LED therapy is used to promote healing and reduce inflammation, and ending with finishing products that leave your skin calm and refreshed. This facial is customized to your skin's specific needs for a combination of results and relaxation.

This 50-minute facial provides a relaxing, rejuvenating experience for expecting mothers. It begins with a gentle double cleanse followed by an enzyme exfoliation to renew and brighten the skin, complemented by a soothing scalp massage. If necessary, extractions are performed to clear congestion and smooth the complexion. Next, a relaxing mask is applied, accompanied by a calming cold globes massage to reduce inflammation and promote relaxation. All products used are guaranteed pregnancy-safe to ensure both safety and efficacy. Please note: LED therapy and other electronic devices are not used during pregnancy facials. The session is completed with finishing products that leave your skin refreshed, balanced, and glowing.
